A special “animation”, why, how?
Alongside the well-known “Gandahar”, “Wang-Fô”, “La Prisonnière”, with René Laloux and “Les Enfants de la Pluie” with Philippe Leclerc… there have been in my love affair with cinema animation some little-known marginal objects. According to the usual principle of the Monsters of the closet, they are the ones who are evoked here. Two small 3D films, “Diamonds” and “Micropolis”, and as always projects without a follow-up, or which had a follow-up without me (“La Reine Soleil”, by Philippe Leclerc). What I produced on these occasions was only seen by a few people, producers and partners…
