Kris Kool is my first comic. It was published in 1970 by Éric Losfeld (Le Terrain vague) in the wake of the pop of Barbarella, Jodelle, Pravda, Saga de Xam… Some legal problems (of which Losfeld was customary) meant that the album was only released briefly and could have completely disappeared with the pestle if Losfeld had not stashed a few boxes here and there while waiting for better days, which means that, years later, we find some of them in new condition.

- the first is the facsimile in the format of the original album (1970) (enhanced with a few bonuses: initial research, black and white originals, “apocryphal” pages published in Actuel, etc.)
- the second corresponds to the reissue by Passenger Press in 2021 (With its bonuses…)
- the paper book is available here in French, in English and in Italian.
- the mini-portfolio assembles 10x15cm images taken from Kris Kool in a recycled paper envelope. It is numbered from 1 to 50 and signed by Caza.

Ma stavolta ha incontrato sul suo cammino le persone sbagliate e ora è naufrago in fuga, su di un pianeta sconosciuto. Dovrà affrontare parecchi psichedelici contrattempi per rimanere in vita e nessuno sa se troverà la via del ritorno verso casa.”
Questa poderosa opera pop-psichedelica non è mai stata ristampata sin dalla prima edizione inglese del 1970, e non è mai nemmeno stata tradotta e pubblicata in altre lingue.
È pertanto con soddisfazione e enorme orgoglio che Passenger Press finalmente ripresenta la riedizione riveduta e corretta di “KRIS KOOL“ di Philippe Cazaumayou in arte CAZA, completamente rimasterizzata, con una new e scintillante ricolorazione, con una new grafica moderna ma rispettosa delle scelte naif dell ‘epoch.
Un’opera ingiustamente dimenticata, che ritorna in vita in a new editorial jacket, allo stesso tempo fedele alla prima edizione inglese.
